Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using makanApa ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. makanApa is operated within International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) campus premises.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for use by students, staff, and authorised visitors of IIUM. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at admin@makanapa.azmiproductions.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. makanApa is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.

4. Ordering & Payment

• All prices displayed are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Orders are confirmed only upon successful payment.
• Payment is processed through BillPlz. By making a payment, you agree to BillPlz's terms of service.
• makanApa does not store your full card or bank details.
• Vendor menus, prices, and availability may change without prior notice.

5. Delivery & Self-Pickup

• Delivery is handled by campus runners. Estimated delivery times are indicative only.
• For self-pickup orders, you are responsible for collecting your order within the timeframe specified.
• makanApa is not liable for delays caused by runners, vendors, or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are subject to our Refund Policy. Generally, orders cannot be cancelled once they have been accepted by a vendor.

7. Vendor & Runner Conduct

Vendors and runners on the Platform agree to maintain food safety standards, fulfil orders honestly, and treat customers with respect. makanApa reserves the right to suspend or remove any vendor or runner account for misconduct.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten any vendor, runner, or other user.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on makanApa — including logos, design, and text — is the property of makanApa. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

makanApa acts as a platform connecting customers, vendors, and runners. We do not prepare food and are not liable for food quality, allergic reactions, or health issues arising from vendor products. You use the Platform at your own risk.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes where possible.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
